The C.A. Pippy Park Golf Course Limited (the Golf Course) was incorporated on January 6th, 2006, under the Corporations Act as a wholly owned subsidiary of the C.A. Pippy Park Commission (the Commission). A Tier Two entity located in St. John’s, the Golf Course is managed by a Board to operate two public courses (a nine and eighteen-hole), a golfer’s lounge, and the Admirals’ Green Clubhouse catering facility. The C.A. Pippy Park Golf Course Board was established in accordance with its by-laws under the Corporations Act for the management of the Golf Course.

Members of the C.A. Pippy Park Golf Course Limited Board shall meet whenever necessary for the transaction of business. Meetings are typically scheduled monthly. Board members may also be expected to spend additional time to review materials and prepare for board and subcommittee meetings.
Meeting of the Board of Directors and of subcommittees of directors (if any) may be held either at the head office of the Commission or elsewhere within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador as the directors may from time to time determine. A meeting of directors may be convened by the Chair, Treasurer, Executive Director, or any two directors at any time, and the Secretary shall convene a meeting of directors.
Directors may be asked to lead and/or serve on board subcommittees responsible for human resources and labour relations, sales and marketing, project management, event coordination, etc.
A director's term of office, subject to the provisions of section 175 of the Corporations Act, shall align with their appointment terms. Directors appointed directly from the Commission shall serve for the duration of their appointment, while all other directors, including the Ministerial Appointee, shall serve a term of three years from the date of appointment.
