Members of the Disciplinary Panel are appointed for three-year terms and are called upon to sit as members of an adjudication tribunal on an as-needed basis. In some years multiple adjudication tribunals are formed, while in other years, there are none. Members should be available to meet up to two to three times per year, plus any additional meetings or training sessions as required. Historically, members are not often called upon two years in a row.
A member appointed to the Disciplinary Panel holds office for a term of 3 years and is eligible to be reappointed. Notwithstanding the expiry of their term, a member of the Disciplinary Panel continues to be a member until they are re-appointed, or their replacement is appointed.
